Throughout his career, David Ling, founder of David Ling Consulting Inc., recognized a common challenge faced by many organizations: managers are often promoted for their ability to complete tasks but lack the necessary training to manage and lead effectively. Providing timely and respectful critical feedback is vital to the health of any company and its employees, yet many managers struggle due to inadequate support and development in this area.
David’s extensive experience in conducting quarterly performance evaluations, delivering constructive feedback, and setting clear workplace expectations for direct reports has given him firsthand insight into the transformative impact of effective leadership. Where We Are Today
Recently, David Ling Consulting Inc. had the opportunity to provide leadership training and development for Herbaland, the largest gummy vitamin manufacturer in Canada. Over a 6-week period, David facilitated four sessions, both in-person and virtually, receiving high praise for content and delivery through anonymous surveys. The training had an immediate positive impact, with leaders applying key learnings to their roles, driving noticeable improvements within the organization.
